ahhh pokemon, the biggest money drain in my life c: i love both collecting the TCG cards, as well as being an avid pokemongo player since 2016!(with a few breaks inbetween). i remember collecting pokemon cards as a kid, probably around 2004/2005, what i'd do to still have those cards...i didn't have anything "expensive" or "rare", but it would be nice to look at them.
i got back into collecting the tcg in 2024 (at the same time it feels like the rest of the world did too), and man i love it. the thrill of chasing cards you want, the beautiful art work to admire. i'm a collector by nature (i have lots of random collections...), but there's just something about pokemon which keeps me coming back.

my favourite pokemons
it's sooo hard to pick my one "favourite", as many different 'mons speak to me for different reasons. but i've included a few different ones below which i'm extra happy about if i
pull in a tcg pack or manage to catch on pokemongo!! tbh, most of them i like because they're cute or quirky ^_^ this list is a WIP so i will add more mons when i have the time!!
mareep whaat, my favourite ever pokemon isn't a cat?!? no it's a sheep, my second favourite animal.
eevee not to be "that girl" but i think i would die for eevee, she's just so damn cute and her eeveelutions are the best.
wailmer ok i'm not too sure on this one either, but i grew a connection with him when he was my "buddy" on pogo for what felt like months to get those damn 400 candies
