i'm a new site, nothing is finished here (yet!!) i'm sorry c:
over the past few years, i've found myself turning my back on "traditional" social media, and yearning for something more creative and fulfilling, which is where this website comes in. this site was created to fulfil my craving for 00's nostalgia & allow me to express myself online.
after spending (probably too much) time online as a kid, from around 2004-2014, i saw what the internet used to look like and how we would interact on there. hopefully blackcatpaws can fulfil that for me ^_^
things i've been working on
07/06/2025 - started my reading log for 2025, as well as adding a few scans of some cool stamps i found in an album the other day.
04/06/2025 - added my latest thrifting finds, added a new pack opening my my pokemon tcg packs page, started my "weird and wonderful collections" page to house and collate everything i collect. oh and i also updated the site map and added a few more stamps and blinkies!!
28/05/2025 - added a few more stamps, as well as making a page to document all of the pokemon cards i pull!! additionally set up a "thrifting" page so log my finds.
26/05/2025 - started to work on my first shrine page, discussing my favourite website as a kid - stardoll. i think this is gonna be a bigger shrine than i thought lol there's so much to talk about! >.<
25/05/2025 - finally my website is (nearly all) centrally alligned! this took me waaay too long to figure out. also worked on my 404 error page, about me page & listed a few of my favourite pokemons!!
21/05/2025 - basically spent my allocated time to work on the site looking at blinkies, gifs & stuff for the site rather than being productive...
14/05/2025 - ahh i keep forgetting to update this. today i worked on filling out my links & pokemon pages c: i must focus more on getting a page finished before moving onto the next, though.
03/05/05/2025 (part 2) - omg i could work on this forever! i keep learning. i've made a new header & added little cats on my navigation bar! how cuteeee c: the about me page was also started today too!
03/05/2025 - today i added this extra box into my site! i had to use the html from google, but i'm proud i managed to edit this how i wanted it! it will be used to post any updates of things i've been working on on the site!
01/05/2025 - hello world! this website was created on this day c: i'm feeling very excited to make this website how i want, and fall deeper into exploring the "old web".
